Greetings! If you have purchased from Fortune's Daughter on eBay, you know me by the ID "fortunesdaughter," and you know that I sell (and buy!) handsome, high end tableware and decorative objects that are accurately described, appropriately evaluated, carefully packed and promptly delivered. You know that I respond to questions quickly and honestly.

I am not a dealer by trade or training. My background is in architecture, design and communications. I have developed a small following of repeat customers primarily through my recent experience liquidating my family's 50 year collection of fine china, crystal, silver, decorative and fine arts. The items I have been selling, and now buying as well, were inherited, bought new or received as gifts from reputable shops, primarily in New York City, London and Paris. They have been carefully and lovingly maintained, and many have never been used. I buy and sell single objects, as well as complete dinner and barware services. Items that I list as "Baccarat" or "Crown Staffordshire" or any other brand have been identified by their marks or catalog research, and in many cases I have sales receipts. This holiday season I am pleased to list several fine bronze sculptures by the Israeli artist Noemi Schindler, a pair of handmade tzedakah or puschke boxes, also from Israel, and a collection of vintage clothing, including a 1980's version of the classic 2.55 Chanel quilted handbag. Upcoming listings will include a fabulous 80's Bob Mackie evening gown, worn once (size 10+-,) and a mint silverplate service for 12 (with mahagony case) from Thomas Goode in London. I have a signed and numbered, slipcased, limited edition of 2 volumes of Henry Kissinger's memoirs. And a superb collection of heirloom linen and lace table cloths and 19th and early 20th century silver.
